• MP0548: vWFreagent, bag, 1x1.0ml, lyophilized(7.5U/ml)with5microtesttubesfor aliquotation. Thereagentisstableuntiltheexpirydateprintedonthe viallabelwhenstoredat2-8°C.Ifreconstitutedreagentis nottransferredintomicrotesttubes,theoriginalvial shouldbestoredinanuprightposition.

MeasurementPrinciple:

InRISTOtesthighahighconcentrationofristocetin (0.77mg/ml)isapplied,whichnormallyinducesastrong plateletaggregation.Attenuatedaggregationin RISTOtesthighcanbebasedonadeficiencyofGpIb receptorsorvWF. InRISTOtestlowalowerconcentrationofristocetin (0.2mg/ml)isappliedwhichnormallydoesnotinducea strongaggregationresponse.Ahigherthanexpected aggregationinRISTOtestlowmayindicateanenhanced aggregationtendencyofvWF(vWStypeIIb).
